Redshirt freshman Dan Neff had LHU's only win, 9-4 at 141 over Bryan Pearsall.
PSU?All-American Nico Megaludis, ranked No. 2 at 125, got things started in fast fashion by pinning LHU's Bobby Rehm at 4:10. Red-shirt freshman Jordan Conaway remained unbeaten in duals for Penn State, picking up a 13-3 major over Matt Bryer at 133.
The Alton brothers from Central?Mountain won the next two bouts for the Nittany Lions, with No. 5 Andrew Alton winning 10-6 over Mac Maldarelli at 149 and No. 5 Dylan Alton winning 5-2 at 157 over Jake Kemerer.
Penn State rolled up a 27-6 edge in takedowns and racked up bonus points in six bouts.
"I was happy with the way we came out and fought early," said LHU coach Robbie Waller. "I'm very proud of Dan (Neff), who competed hard. We are getting better, but still need to finish."
