Jeanne M. Vanderlin

Jeanne M. Vanderlin, 91, formerly of Overhill Road, Williamsport, died peacefully and surrounded by her family on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at the Williamsport Home.

Born Aug. 8, 1921, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Roland T. and Marie (Crowne) MacLaren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Vanderlin on May 23, 1994, and her sister, Mary L. Thomas in 2011.

Jeanne and her husband owned and operated Vanderlin Dry Cleaners for 34 years until they retired in 1991. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, and enjoyed reading and cooking.

Jeanne is survived by two sons, Steven R. of Williamsport and Michael R. of Altoona; two daughters, Ann V. Lundy (Ken) of Williamsport and Karen V. Flock of Dewart; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. Burial will be held at Wildwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Knight-Confer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jeanne's name may be made to the Williamsport Home, 1900 Ravine Road, Williamsport, PA 17701 or the W.B. Konkle Library, 384 Broad St., Montoursville, PA 17754.
