MANSFIELD - Five people were charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants recently.
According to documents filed at district judges' offices in the borough and Wellsboro, four of them were issued a summons to appear. They are:
John D. Arzberger, 42, of 19273 Route 6, Mainesburg, state police after he crashed his car on Route 6 Richmond Township, Nov. 9.
Wilfred U. Tamms, 56, of 468 Tears Road, state police after he crashed his car on Canoe Camp Creek Road, Richmond Township, Dec. 3.
Val M. Rommel, 59, of 60 Waln St., Wellsboro, state police following a traffic stop on Route 287, Tioga Township, Nov. 8.
Herman D. Wood, 28, of 61 Second St., Millerton, state police following a traffic stop on Charleston Road, Oct. 13.
In addition, Julian B. Veyna Jr., 29, of Clairsville, Ohio, was arrested DCNR Bureau of Forestry personnel following a traffic stop on Owassee Road in Shippen Township on Dec. 16. and jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday.
