MANSFIELD - Ramon S. Driscoll, 22, of Elmira, N.Y., was charged by state police with aggravated assault, illegal possession of a firearm and simple assault following a fight at Fred's Gentleman's Club, Route 287, Tioga Township, on Nov. 24.
According to documents filed at District Judge James Carlson's office, troopers responded to a fight at the club and were met by the victim, Michael A. Trussell, of Elmira, who said he and Driscoll "had words" and then Driscoll showed him a concealed handgun on his person.
When Trussell turned to walk away, Driscoll allegedly hit him in the head with a glass bottle, and they went to the floor fighting.
Trussell had to be treated at a local hospital emergency room for lacerations and reported being told that the multiple cuts to his face likely would leave scars.
Driscoll is not licensed to carry a firearm in Pennsylvania. He was jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
