December 20, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

WELLSBORO - Victoria N. Pearson, 19, of 1067 Shumway Hill Road, was charged by state police with possession of a controlled substance after she allegedly overdosed on heroin and had to be treated at a local emergency room.

According to documents filed at District Judge Rob Repard's office, Pearson had her younger sister purchase the heroin for her in a parking lot in Delmar Township on Nov. 21 and delivered to her at the residence in Charleston Township.

She then allegedly used one of the packets and overdosed, police said. She was taken to the hospital by her father in a private vehicle, and he turned over the heroin found in her purse to police.

She was issued a summons to appear at a Jan. 8 preliminary hearing.
