MANSFIELD - Jolene L. Morgan, 51, of Canton, was charged by state police with retail theft after allegedly attempting to leave the Richmond Township Wal-Mart without paying for 44 items Dec. 10.
According to documents filed at District Judge James Carlson's office, Morgan tried to walk out of the store with merchandise valued at $153. According to police, she had four prior charges for shoplifting. She was issued a summons to appear at a preliminary hearing Jan. 9.
