Workers are forced to join the union so they can work. The union collects dues to pay for union leaders high wages. The union bosses are part of the two percent by the way. Most of the money is then funneled back to the Dem party, which is used to re-elect Dems.
It all comes down to money laundering. This has been, is, and will be as long as unions are protected by Democratic politicians. Oh, and where did the Stimulus money go? Protecting dues paying union jobs.
