Mr. and Mrs. Grant J. Myers Sr., Linden, observed their 35th wedding anniversary Oct. 8, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. Frederick Hasskarl in Williamsport.
They are members of Calvary Baptist Church, Jersey Shore.

Mrs. Myers, the former Kathy L. Starr, is a native of Williamsport. She is the daughter of Theresa E. Starr, Williamsport, and the late Byron B. Starr Sr. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School and from Williamsport Hospital School of Nursing in 1975. She had been employed by area hospitals and physicians as a registered nurse and is self-employed by Shepherd's Professional Medical Consultants as owner and nurse consultant.
Mr. Myers, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Doris L. and Elmer E. Myers. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School. He had been employed in the automotive business for more than 40 years and retired in 2011 from Quality Care Service Center, Ford of Williamsport, as service manager
They are the parents of a daughter, Jennifer Layton, Williamsport, and a son, Grant J. Jr.
There are seven grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a party was hosted by their children at the couple's home on Oct. 13.
