Announcement has been made of the engagement of Jillian Seaton and Jacob Ference, both of Rochester, N.Y.
A Sept. 7 wedding in Rochester officiated by the Rev. Gary Seaton, uncle of the bride, is being planned.
Seaton is the daughter of Rosanne Seaton, Montoursville and the late John Seaton. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2003. She received a bachelor's degree in advertising in 2008 and a master's degree in communication and media technologies in 2010, both from Rochester Institute of Technology. She is employed by Adsmart Online, Rochester, as a national account manager.
