Announcement has been made of the engagement of Erika Noelle Moore and Samuel Thomas Barnhart, both of Jersey Shore.
A May 18 wedding at the Acacia Club is being planned.
Moore is the daughter of Laurie D. Christ, Jersey Shore, and Matthew Moore, Linden. She graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 2008 and received an associate degree in dental hygiene from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2011. She is employed by Dr. John Robison and Dr. Jocelyn Anderton, State College, as a registered dental hygienist.

Barnhart is the son of Liz and Butch Barnhart, Jersey Shore. He graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 2006 and received a bachelor's degree in education from Lock Haven University in 2010. He is employed by Curtin Middle School as a special education teacher.
