Elaine Barletta Porter, Williamsport, and Melvin E. Ulmer, Montoursville, were united in marriage at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012.
The Rev. James R. Sunderland Jr. officiated at the ceremony held at Bethel United Methodist Church, Montoursville.
A rehearsal dinner was held at the couple's home in Williamsport, and a reception was held at Johnson's Cafe, Montoursville.

The bride is the daughter of Alice Sheridan, Williamsport, and the late A. Lawrence Barletta. She is employed by Susquehanna Paper Co.
Ulmer is the son of Jane Ulmer, Montoursville, and the late Irvin Ulmer. He is employed by C.H. Waltz Sons.
Wedding participants were Jason Ulmer, son of the bridegroom, and Erin Ulmer, daughter of the bridegroom, both of Montoursville; Sarah Ulmer, San Francisco, Calif., daughter of the bridegroom; Emma Hollenbach, Montoursville, granddaughter of the bridegroom; Angela Barletta, niece of the bride, and Mason Geyer, great-nephew of the bride, both of Williamsport; Molly Brackett, Fort Mills, S.C., and Mary Schilling, Asheville, N.C., both nieces of the bride, and Charlie Schilling, Asheville, N.C., nephew of the bride.
The couple is residing in Williamsport.
