It seems everywhere I've been, every establishment I've visited or just meeting people on the street, the comments are all the same. I just can't get this Newtown, CT tragedy out of my mind. This is not only the local people; this thought is going through the minds of people around the world, as it should.
Many tears have been shed, even people that have not shed a tear in years are crying because of the grief that goes along with such a cowardly, heinous, criminal act. I've heard many people ask, "Where was God?" and "Why did God let this happen?" These are really good questions.
God doesn't need defended, by any means, but His reply may be as follows. As for the perpetrator Adam Lanza God may say, "I wasn't in his life because maybe no one told him about me." To the President, the politicians and our government officials, "You said to Me, get out of our system, we no longer need You in our decisions. We'll run the government and we'll make the important decisions. So I left because I wasn't welcome." To the US Supreme Court, "You told me to get out of your schools, You are no longer needed in our youth training curriculum. We'll teach them what we want them to know." To the pro-abortionists, "Why the tears? What makes a life of five years more valuable than a life of 5 months prior to birth?"
To the parents, relatives, friends, "I was right there with your children. I told your children, 'Fear not, for I am with you always' and be sure of this I have kept my promise because this very moment your children are sitting on my lap, the lap of God, and I'll love them for you."
O yes, one other person shared your tears. "God shed a tear"
