Evelyn A. McMahon, 82, formerly of Jersey Shore, Pa., passed away Dec. 21, 2012, at Sycamore Manor.
She was born Feb. 14, 1930, in Montoursville, Pa., a daughter of Chester and Martha E. Fredericks McKinney.
Evelyn retired from Shop-Vac and had worked at Carey-McFall. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. McMahon Sr.; two grandchildren, Timothy Sander and Jared McMahon; two sisters, Martha V. McKinney and Mary Louise Hughes; and one brother, Chester McKinney.
Evelyn is survived by two sons, Robert E. (Kim Corley) McMahon Jr. of Williamsport and Scott A. (Catherine) McMahon of Trout Run; two daughters, Sherry L. (Michael) Sander and Jane L. (Robert) Burget, both of Williamsport; one brother, William (Rosemary) McKinney of Montoursville; one sister, Betty Koser of Montoursville; 11 grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with the Rev. Kenneth R. Elkin officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
