Announcement has been made of the engagement of Jamie Rinehart and Chris Konachik, both of Jersey Shore.
A Jan. 18, 2014, wedding in Williamsport is being planned.
Rinehart is the daughter of Michelle and Roger Rinehart, Salladasburg. She graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 2001 and received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Bloomsburg University in 2005. She is employed by West Branch Valley Federal Credit Union as an accounting clerk.

Konachik is the son of Denise Konachik, Hurst, Texas, and Charles Burns Jr., Milesburg. He graduated from Bald Eagle Area High School, Wingate, in 2001. He is employed in private security in State College. He served as a 19 Delta Cavalry Scout (E-5 SGT) from 2004 to 2008, Operation Enduring Freedom from 2007 to 2008 and received the Bronze Star with Valor for distinguished service.
