Williamsport Sun-Gazette

A South Williamsport man faces theft-related charges for allegedly stealing from his employer in Old Lycoming Township, according to township police.

Thomas Samuel Gonzalez, 46, of 309 Sidney St., is accused of making three separate gas purchases for personal use on a gas card issued by his employer, Foresburg Furnace, 1920 Mahaffey Lane, totaling $304 in mid-September, police said.

Gonzalez also is accused of making a $46 charge on the company's account at Winner Hardware in the township for an item that was for his own personal use, police said.

Following his recent arraignment before District Judge James H. Sortman on charges of theft, receiving stolen property and access device fraud, Gonzalez was free on $5,000 bail.
