Andrea Bennardi
Andrea Bennardi, daughter of Mark and Lisa Bennardi, South Williamsport, is the South Williamsport Area High School Senior of the Month for December.
Bennardi has been active in National Honor Society, where she is vice president, Family Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Future Business Leaders of America, Yoga Club and Prom Committee.
She also was elected as vice president for the Class of 2013.
Outside of school, Bennardi donates her time to the Sojourner's Truth Soup Kitchen and earns money babysitting. She is actively involved in Hope Community Church, where she participates in Bible studies and Young Life.
She is a member of faculty-selected Teen Contact group that helps younger students with various needs such as tutoring and peer mediation.
After graduation, she plans to attend college and major in accounting.
Rebecca L. Wagner
TURBOTVILLE - Rebecca L. Wagner, daughter of Bryan and Lorie Wagner, was named Outstanding Senior at Warrior Run High School for December.
In school, Wagner is a member of National Honor Society, Drama Club, Spanish Club, Defender Pride Club and is secretary of the Student Council. She participates in Concert Choir, is president of the Librarian Chorale and is a member of the Harmonic Minors.
Outside of school, she is the piano accompanist for middle school choirs.
She has been on the distinguished honor roll and received multiple performance awards in musicals, choirs, ensembles, piano recitals, talent shows and church productions
She is employed as a crew member at Wendy's.
After college, she plans to pursue a degree in recreational management at Lock Haven University.
Austin D. Bowers
TURBOTVILLE - Austin D. Bowers, son of Timothy and Dixie Bower, Watsontown, was named Watsontown Lions Club's Student of the Month at Warrior Run High School for December.
In school, Bowers is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, Future Business Leaders of America and Concert Choir.
He also is captain of the boys soccer team and is a member of the North Union Soccer Team.
He was on the all-state soccer team and selected for first-team soccer at Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference II.
He is employed by Turbotville Great Valu.
After graduation, he plans to pursue a degree in finance.
Sophia G. Biddle
TURBOTVILLE - Sophia G. Biddle, daughter of Chris and Dorothy Biddle, Turbotville, was named Turbotville Lions Club's Student of the Month at Warrior Run High School for December.
In school, she is a member of National Honor Society, Tri-Hi-Y and Student Council.
She is a member of the Lady Defender Soccer team and participates in 4-H.
She was the 2012 Homecoming Queen, received the 4-H Award of Excellence and was a member of the Lady Defender two-time state championship team.
She is employed on her family's farm.
After graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in physician assistant studies at Lock Haven University.
