Outlaws lose at Danbury

Cody Ayers scored two goals and Max Mobley added two as Danbury defeated Williamsport, 7-6, Friday in Danbury, Conn.

Ayers scored Danbury's first goal and Mobley added two more for three consecutive goals to open.

The Outlaws were outscored 4-1 over the first period.

Matt Smyth and Trevor Karasiewicz scored two goals apiece for the Outlaws. Karasiewicz leads the FHL in points and assists.

Anthony Battaglia and Martin Mocha rounded the scoring out for the Outlaws.

The Outlaws play at 1000 Islands tonight before returning home Monday, Dec. 31 vs. Danbury in a game that starts at 5.

The Outlaws are also hosting the Federal Hockey League all-star game Jan. 2 at Bowman Field.
