Area property owners looking for a way to maintain the integrity of their homes or other buildings can call on Derick Cimini, of Jersey Shore.
Cimini recently launched Lycoming Spray Foam, a structure insulation business.
"I insulate attics, garages, any part of the house where studs are showing. If drywall is up, I can do it. Pretty much anything that needs insulating," he said.
Cimini, a retired U.S. Marine and combat veteran, said he usually can do a job in a day or less.
Most of his work, since he started in July, has been done in Lycoming County, although he can work elsewhere.
"I give a customer a free quote. I set up a spray," he said.

Cimini said not many people are familiar with spray foaming for insulation, a process he said can help seal cracks in walls, saves on heating and cooling costs and help provide a better overall value to a home.
It also helps prevent mold and can even deter animals from burrowing into the structure.
"Spray foam helps the integrity of your structure," he added.
Cimini said spray foam can even be used for items such as freezers.
Spray foam, he said, has a high R-value. The higher the R-value of an insulation product, the more effective its insulating properties.
Cimini said he only used the closed cell foam, which, compared to the open-cell foam, has a higher R-value and presents a greater resistance to the leakage of air or water vapor.
A 2000 graduate of South Williamsport Area High School, Cimini said he started the business to stay busy.
He employs one part-time person.
