Look good, feel better next week
"Look Good Feel Better," a free workshop for women with cancer, will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Susquehanna Cancer Center at Divine Providence Hospital.
Trained cosmetology professionals will teach attendees how to care for the physical side effects of treatment such as the loss of eyebrows, skin pigmentation and hair. Women will receive a free gift bag complete with brand-name beauty products and learn a 12-step process to address skin changes, nail changes and hair loss.

Expectant Parents to meet
WELLSBORO - Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital's free series of Expectant Parents classes begin at 7 p.m. Jan. 8 with a class titled "Physical & Emotional Changes During Pregnancy." Check the lobby or refer to the meeting room schedule.
Expectant parents learn to identify, prepare for and cope with the physical and emotional changes experienced during pregnancy. The class is part of a free cycle of six classes addressing common questions and concerns of expecting parents.
Registration is not necessary. Walk-ins welcome.

Vision workshops offered for parents
MUNCY - Dr. Marcus Myers, of the Vision & Learning Center, 112 S. Main St., will hold free workshops for parents and professionals who want to learn about children's learning-related vision problems. The workshops will teach attendees how to identify children who may have vision problems that affect reading and learning.
Workshops will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Jan. 15 at the learning center. To register, call Karen at 546-4885.
