Paul E. Bower, 98, of Blossburg, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012.
Paul was married to the former Kathryn Swinsick, she preceded him in death in 2002.
Paul was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

He attended and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Blossburg.
Paul was also a member of Theodore Roosevelt American Legion Post No. 167, Morris Run, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Supreme Sacrifice Post No. 8730, Blossburg, Masonic Lodge No. 350, F&AM Blossburg, and the Wheel Inn.
Surviving are nephews, Art (Jane) Mahonski, Blossburg and Denny (Tina) Atkinson, Trout Run, and numerous other nieces and nephews; a cousin, Edwin Gillmore; and his companion, Orpha Lundgren, Wellsboro.
Funeral services for immediate family and veterans will be held Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at 7 p.m. from the Freeberg Funeral Home, Blossburg.
