Ruth Louise Kaufman, of Williamsport, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Pa., after a short illness.
She was born in Williamsport on April 28, 1926, to the late Paul Eugene and Edna (Shultz) Aurand. She was the wife of the late Fred Samuel Kaufman.
She was preceded in death by seven siblings, Paul, James, Robert, Don, George, Harvey and Jean Aurand Derr.
Three siblings survive her, Virginia Aurand, Mary Bardo and Charles Aurand.
In addition, her three sons and their families survive her, Ralph E. Kaufman (Sharon) of York, Pa., and grandchildren, Krista J. (Mike) Gephart, as well as great-grandchildren, Ethan, Alexa and Isaiah of Jersey Shore, Pa., Erica A. Kaufman and great-grandchild, Ella Kaufman of Montoursville, Pa., Craig S. Kaufman and wife Luana Cleveland and grandchildren, Moriah Cleveland and Fletcher Kaufman, all of Williamsport, Paul D. Kaufman (Nancy Lockard) of Lansdale, Pa., and grandchildren and their families, Kurt L. (Teresa) Kaufman and daughter, Lola Grace, of Redondo Beach, Calif., Chad D. (Jenna) Kaufman and daughter, Lilly Anne of East Earl, Pa.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Sanders Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
