James A. Kuhns
James A. Kuhns, 63, of 438 Tinsman Ave., Williamsport, died Jan. 2, 2013, at his home.
Born in Williamsport on March 18, 1949, the son of Milford Sr. and Margaret Winder Kuhns.
James was employed by the Stroehman Bakery on Lycoming Creek Road and he retired from Kellogg's in Muncy.
James enjoyed golfing, bowling, and fast and slow pitch softball.
He and his wife, the former Patricia A. Shurer, celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary this past August 2012.
Surviving besides his wife, Patricia, are his sons, Kevin and Kris of Temecula, Calif. and Keith (Michelle) of this city.
He is also survived by his brother, Milford L. (Joan) Kuhns, of Williamsport, as well as four nieces, Michele, Tonia, Lori and Stephanie; one nephew, Ronald J. Shurer II, of Arizona, and his dog, Tasha.
A memorial service will be held at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
