Helen E. Doebler, 98, of Williamsport, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at her home.
Born April 6, 1914, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Charlotte (Lowe) Hafer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Pryor; daughter, Harriet Prince; three brothers, Harry, William, and Herbert Hafer; and one sister, Ida May Getgen.
She worked at Williamsport Hospital, Cobbler's and Weldon's.
Helen was a former member of the Women of the Moose. She enjoyed going out to eat, crochet, bingo, sewing and sitting on her porch swing.
Surviving are six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, James Hafer of Florida.
