MUNCY - Andre Leslie Tucker Jr., 27, of 104 S. Main St., has been charged by borough police with simple assault and harassment for assaulting his girlfriend, Jessica Kristen, at the couple's home about 9 p.m. Dec. 19.
When an officer arrived at Muncy Valley Hospital to interview Kristen, the right side of her body was "covered in blood," police said.
Following his arraignment later that night before District Judge James Carn, Tucker was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
