Carol Jeanne Dalton, Mansfield, Pa., was born Dec. 25, 1933, in Danville, Pa., and died Jan. 5, 2013, at the age of 79. She was the daughter of Cameron and Mildred Bausch of Danville, Pa.
On July 5, 1952, she married Robert E. Dalton, her husband of 60 years, who survives. She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother of five children, Robert E. Dalton Jr. (Cindy), Wellsboro, Pa., Mark L. Dalton (Debbie), Mansfield, Pa., Karen J. Russel (David), Mansfield, Pa., Eileen M. Droleski (Gerald), Elmira, N.Y., and Mary Kay Kelly (Michael), Hanover, Pa. There are 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Cameron F. Bausch (Judy) of State College, Pa.
Carol was an excellent musician. She shared her talents by service as the music director and organist at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Blossburg, Pa., for more than 25 years.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, Pa. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel. At 8 p.m. there will be a recitation of the Rosary. There will be visitation on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral chapel with transitional prayers at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Holy Child Catholic Church, 245 S.
