Frank S. Starkweather, 68, of Wellsboro, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013. Born Aug. 14, 1944, in Blossburg, he was the husband of Reitha A. (Gile) Starkweather and a son of Frank D. and Eloise F. (Hunter) Starkweather.
Frank was retired from Osram Sylvania. Frank is survived by his wife of 48 years, Reitha; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Starkweather of Trevorton, Pa., Mark and Carla Starkweather of Wellsboro, Martin Starkweather of Wellsboro; and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by a granddaughter.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Whitneyville Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home Inc., Wellsboro.
