A South Williamsport man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his pregnant girlfriend by grabbing her feet and dragging her out of a bed, causing her to hit her head on the floor, according to borough police.
Andrew Thomas Watson, 25, of 412 Charlotte Ave., will have a preliminary hearing next month on charges of simple assault, recklessly endangering and harassment stemming from the Dec. 20 disturbance at the couple's home.
The victim, Kelly Woodley, was 36 weeks pregnant, police said. Initially committed to the Lycoming County Prison, Watson is free on $25,000 bail.
