The Sun-Gazette is seeking photos of wedding and bridesmaid dresses for an upcoming feature about how styles and trends have changed throughout the years.

Christian Women to hold brunch
The Christian Women's Club of Williamsport will hold a Winter's Frosty Spell Brunch from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Jan. 24 at Community Baptist Church, 1853 Route 87 North, Montoursville.
The event will feature John Hettinger, from the Lycoming County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the Lauchle Sisters and Jennifer Ebaugh, who will give the talk "Running to Win."
Reservations are due by Friday; those not canceled must be honored.

Lock Haven women to hold luncheon
The theme for the Jan. 23 luncheon of the Lock Haven Christian Women's Club is "The Eyes Have It."
The luncheon will begin at noon at Aungst's banquet facility, 3169 Eagle Valley Road, Mill Hall.
The cost includes lunch, entertainment, inspirational speaker and free parking. Ladies attending the luncheon are asked to use the side parking lot.
The feature for the day will be "Eye've Been Framed." Allison Kidd from Dr. Brandt's office will provide an eyeglass-frame fashion show. Cassie Ferrara, a talented local soloist, will play.
Jennifer Ebaugh will bring inspiring words to the program, with "Running to Win."

Cub Scouts plan Pinewood Derby
Cub Scout Pack 41 will hold a Pinewood Derby from 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 19 at Messiah Lutheran Church, South Williamsport.
The event will include refreshments for fundraising for the boys.
Canton library to host movie club
CANTON - The next "meeting" of the popular Canton's Kid's Movie Club will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Canton Green Free Library.
The movie will be "Diary of a Wimpy Kid." The club will meet during the 2012-13 school year on days that school is closed for a holiday or because there is an in-service day.
Membership is free. No reservations are required. Movie snacks will be provided.
Ballroom society to host dance
The Susquehanna Ballroom Dance Society will sponsor its monthly ballroom dance, with pre-recorded music from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the Divine Providence Auditorium.
The auditorium is handicapped accessible at rear of building.
The pre-recorded music is provided for ballroom dancers of all levels.
