Evelyn L. Kroft, 91, formerly of Newberry died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at the Sycamore Manor.
Born Nov. 2, 1921, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Florence Cohick Seitzer.
Evelyn was employed by Sylvania in Montoursville. She was a member of Heshbon Park United Methodist Church, a volunteer for Friends of the Court and Sycamore Manor, and a former Cub Scout Leader.
Surviving are her children, John M. Kroft of Virginia, Gloria J. Powers of Lancaster and Candace M. Hodoba of New Mexico; a brother, Ralph Seitzer of Williamsport; a sister, Marion Dailey of Williamsport; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John I. Kroft and daughter, Carol A. Hinkelman in 1993; two brothers, George and Lester; and a sister, Irma Allen.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will be held in Green Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
