Larry Steven Schreffler, 67, passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, after battling Lewy Body Dementia for several years. Born in Dillsburg on April 4, 1945, to Alma Starr Schreffler and the late Marlin Jefferson Schreffler, Larry grew up in Leck Kill, Pa., and spent most of his life in Williamsport, Pa.
Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara Reidinger Schreffler; son, Curtis Schreffler and wife Ursula of Dillsburg, Pa.; and daughter, Jule Schreffler Eller and husband Ernie of Mooresville, N.C. He was also blessed with six grandchildren, Austin, Leah, Shyla and Leslie Schreffler and Kyrsten and Duncan Eller.
A 27-year-veteran of Tetley Tea, Larry was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed many years as a pitcher of slow-pitch softball. He was a kind, gentle spirit who will be missed greatly by friends and family.

Services will be held Friday, Jan. 18, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 201 S. Baltimore St., Dillsburg, Pa., with the Rev. Lois K. Van Orden officiating. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. with a ceremony following.
