Julianna V. Bolt, 65, of East Stroudsburg, died on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, in the Golden Living Center, East Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife of Wayne Bolt, with whom she had celebrated 44 years of marriage. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Theresa (Fenderson) Howard.
Julianna was a resident of the East Stroudsburg area for the past 25 years and prior to that she resided in the Brooklyn, N.Y., area. In her early years, she was employed as a bookkeeper for the MIlgram, Tamgian, Jacob & Lee Law Firm in Manhattan, N.Y., for 15 years and later when she moved to the East Stroudsburg area, she worked at the East Stroudsburg University Foundation for several years.
Julianna was a former of St. Matthews Catholic Church and presently was a member of St. John's Catholic Church of Bushkill.
In addition to her husband, Wayne she is survived by two sons, Sheriff Wayne A. Bolt of Toney, Ala., and Jason P. Bolt and his wife Amy of Williamsport; four grandchildren, Jordan, Julian, Alexander and Jenson; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Guy and Dr. Patricia Graham; a brother-in-law, Ronald Guy; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. from St. John's Catholic Church, Bushkill, Pa., with the Rev. Fr. Jeffrey Walsh as celebrant. Burial will be in the Stroudsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, 23 N. Ninth St., Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
