Legislator to meet with constituents

January 16, 2013
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

State Rep. Garth Everett, R-Muncy, will host a series of town hall meetings in the 84th Legislative District this month to discuss the new legislative session and other state-related issues.

The first meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Antes Fort Volunteer Fire Co., 231 Front St., Antes Fort.

Everett said the beginning of the new legislative session is a good time to meet with constituents and the general public to recap what has happened in Harrisburg during the last few years.

"I look forward to the opportunity of interacting with residents of the district," Everett said.

Additional meetings will be held on Jan. 23 at the Trout Run Volunteer Fire Co., 241 Route 14, Trout Run; Jan. 28 at the C.E. McCall Middle School, 600 Willow St., Montoursville; and Jan. 31 at the Hughesville Volunteer Fire Co., Railroad and Water streets, Hughesville.

All meetings will be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
