United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. This Wednesday we will celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity and the 50th anniversary of Vatican II. The speaker will be talk about his impressions of Vatican II as it was taking place while he was a student in Rome. A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.
