Kenneth E. Noble, 79, of Williamsport, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Tamaqua on June 24, 1933, the son of Bernard and Louise Valerie (Renotte) Noble.
Ken was a 1963 graduate of LaSalle University and retired from Rexnord Corp. after 36 years.
As a young man, Ken was very active in sports and later in life was an avid sports fan.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Korean Conflict.
Ken was a member of the American Legion, the Young Men's Republican Club and a life member of the Gesang Verein Harmonia in Williamsport.
His first wife, the former Jane Kay Ramsey, died in 1978.
Surviving are his wife of 29 years, the former Judith E. Daly; four children, Scott B. (Theressa L.) Noble, Sharon (Joseph) Kaszan, Christopher Noble, Angela (Derek Evan) Nichols; five adoring grandchildren, Matthew, Kailey, John, Devon, Nadia; and a sister, Bernice Koch.
In addition to his parents and first wife, a sister, Doreen Zebrowski, preceded him in death.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, with the Rev. Dr. J. Morris Smith officiating followed by burial in Wildwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Ken's name may be made to Susquehanna Foundation for the benefit of the Susquehanna Cancer Treatment Center, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701
