Mr. and Mrs. Jack S. DiMarco Sr., Poinciana, Fla., will observe their 55th wedding anniversary Jan. 25, 2013.
They were married by the Rev. Alphonsus Manley at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church. They are members of First Baptist Church of Poinciana.
Mrs. DiMarco, the former Beverly E. Breon, is a native of Williamsport. She is the daughter of the late Florence E. and Chester H. Breon. She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1955. She was employed by Coder's Dry Cleaning as a clerk and at Lycoming College as a dining room supervisor. She retired in 2002 from Good Samaritan Villages, Kissimmee, Fla., where she was employed in food services.
Mr. DiMarco, a native of New York City, is the son of the late Jennie L. and Salvatore S. DiMarco. He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1953 and Demetree School of Real Estate, Orlando, Fla., in 1984. He served in the Navy in EN3 during the Korean War from 1952 to 1957. He retired as a firefighter for the City of Williamsport in 1980, and from TRC Realty Co. and Champaign Homes Inc., Poinciana, in 1995.
They are the parents of two daughters, Kathi Lee Grand, Orlando, and Karen Ann Taylor, Coral Springs, Fla., and a son, Jack S. Jr., Fort Worth, Texas.
There are seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a family reunion held by their children is being planned.
