Announcement has been made of the engagement of Erica Green, Mansfield, and Oscar Wheeler, Corning, N.Y.
A November 2014 wedding is being planned.
Green is the daughter of Eva and Fred Green, Mansfield. She graduated from Mansfield Area High School in 2006 and received bachelor's degrees in chemistry and in sociology from Washington and Jefferson College, Washington, in 2010. She is pursuing a doctorate degree in chemistry at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Wheeler is the son of Ann Wheeler, Corning. He graduated from Corning East High School in 2005 and received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Lycoming College in 2009. He is pursuing a doctorate degree in chemistry at the University of Utah.
