Ray P. Hamilton Sr.

Ray P. Hamilton Sr., 73, of Millville, passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 27, 1939, in Williamsport, a son of the late Adam J. and Mary Ethel Bacon Hamilton.

He attended Williamsport Schools. After school, he served in the U.S. Army. He was a welder at A.C.F. in Milton. He was a member of the Steel Workers Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and tractor pulls.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jamie Hamilton, a brother, Robert Hamilton and a sister, Grace Swank.

He is survived by his wife, the former Brookanne Albertson, with whom he married Oct. 23, 1971; three sons, Ray P. Hamilton Jr. and his wife Irene of Millville, Wesley A. Hamilton of Millville and Richard T. Hamilton and his wife Pam of Unityville; and two daughters, Linda Dulaney of Hughesville and Beth Hamilton of Millville; three grandchildren, Jeremy Hamilton, Brandon Hamilton and Kaitlin Hamilton and her companion Brandon; and two great-grandchildren, Ellie Young and Jade Bailey; a brother, Charlie Hamilton of Muncy; and a sister, Donna Roupp of Williamsport.

Services will be Friday at noon at Bunnell Funeral Home, Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville, Pa., with Pastor Allen Acor officiating. Burial will be at Twin Hills Memorial Park.
