Mother turns in son after finding drug paraphernalia

MANSFIELD - Jonathan P. Matczak, 22, of 597 Blake Road, Blossburg, was charged by state police with possession of drug paraphernalia after being reported by his mother.

According to documents filed at District Judge James Carlson's office, police were dispatched to the residence Jan. 6 and found seven syringes, burnt metal spoons and a metal smoking pipe, among other items.

His mother said she had found a black plastic case containing the items in his room.

He was issued a summons to appear for a preliminary hearing Feb. 27.
