6 charged with DUI

WELLSBORO - Six people were charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants in district courts here and in Mansfield recently. According to court documents they were:

Gerald J. Mak, 41, of 1584 Dunkleberger Road, Millerton, by Mansfield police during a traffic stop Oct. 7. He was released on $2,500 bail, waived his preliminary hearing and his county court date set for Jan. 28.

Christopher P. Matthews, 32, of Bossier, La., by state police after they were dispatched to check on a disabled motorist on Route 414, Union Township, Jan. 18. He was jailed in lieu of $7,500 bail, and his preliminary hearing was held Wednesday.

Jason A. Greenfield, 20, of 30 Fischler St. following a traffic stop on East Avenue Jan. 1. He was issued a summons to appear.

Brandon C. Dooley, 20, of 9 Jackson St., by borough police following a traffic stop Jan. 5 on Bryden Street. He was issued a summons to appear.

John W. Colvin, 53, of 12425 Route 6, by borough police following a traffic stop on Bryden Street Jan. 5. He was issued a summons to appear.

Richard A. Jenks, 78, of 10 Cole St., Apt. 510, after he hit a parked car in the liquor store parking lot on Crafton Street Dec. 31. He was issued a summons to appear.
