Academy to hold Open Houses
St. John Neumann Regional Academy will hold Open Houses at their three Williamsport campuses on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m.
Preschool (3 and 4 year olds) and Kindergarten at 1650 Sheridan St.
1st through 6th grades at 710 Franklin St.
7th through 12th grades at 901 Penn St.
Visit classrooms, meet teachers and staff and learn more about the benefits of a Catholic education.
Financial aid is available.

Old Corner to host
Cupcake Challenge
The Old Corner Hotel, 328 Court St., will host a Cupcake Challenge from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Cupcake Challenge is a fundraiser to benefit Hayden's Heart Foundation.
The Old Corner is raising money for the foundation in combination with the Mardi Gras King-Queen competition among local bars and restaurants.
The mission of Hayden's Heart Foundation is to raise awareness to keep Hayden's memory alive, and also to help other families with their medical bills and travel expenses.
The Cupcake Challenge is free to enter, but all cupcakes must be a liquor-based recipe.
Zac Baggett will perform and there will be free giveaways and samples for attendees.
A donation of $10 or more to Hayden's Heart Foundation is suggested.

Pine Street UMC
to hold dance
A dance for singles will be held from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Feb. 2 at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St.
The cost of the dance is $7.50.
There is no smoking or alcohol.
Attire is dressy and casual, no denim or jeans permitted.
Muncy Historical Society to host drawing workshop
Artist Carol Wagner will introduce a workshop to participants that teaches basic principles of drawing realistic, accurate representations of what we see, at 1 p.m. Feb. 3 in the meeting room at the Muncy Historical Society, 40 N. Main St.
Wagner is a local artist whose paintings have been accepted in prestigious national exhibitions.
During the workshop, attendees will listen to a short lecture, watch a demonstration and draw a simple still life.
All materials are included in the $20 workshop fee.
No previous experience required.
Class size is limited and registration is required.
