Announcement has been made of the engagement of Theresa Rose Shoff, Cogan Station, and Joseph Dio McGinnis, Annapolis, Md.
A May wedding in Cogan Station is being planned.
Shoff is the daughter of Rose-Marie and David Gross, Cogan Station and John Schoff, South Williamsport. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2009 and received a bachelor's degree in art history from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2012. She is employed by the Valley Inn, DuBoistown.

McGinnis is the son of Emilie and James McGinnis, Carlisle. He graduated from Boiling Springs High School in 2008 and received a bachelor's degree in safety sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2012. He is employed by ESIS, Annapolis, Md., as a health safety environmental technician.
