Bullfrog will host MiZ at 10 p.m. First Frday. The style of MiZ, the band, has been described as a fusion of folk, rock, bluegrass and blues; in short, a melting pot blended into what would best be categorized as "pure Americana." There will be no charge for admission.

James (Jimbot) Demski Jr. lives in Milwaukee, Wis., with "his wife, his daughter, his two dogs and possibly a captive robot he keeps in his basement. After graduating from art school, James began re-programming his over-schooled brain, and took work as a freelance artist ... he has been doing it ever since."

Featured artist: Luana Cleveland. Cleveland is a graduate of Penn State University. She also attended the Art Students' League in New York City and the Brooklyn Museum School.
She has had solo exhibitions of her work in New York City; Arnot Art Museum, Elmira, N.Y.; Sloan Gallery, Lock Haven University; and Penn State. Cleveland's art has been featured in American Artist magazine. Her recent work focuses on exotic animal portraits in pastel and watercolor.

Emily Bigger, a Penn College senior, will be the Collegetown Gallery artist for February's First Friday. Her photography exhibit is titled "Schism."
The Collegetown Gallery, which is designed to showcase the local college art programs and students, is part of First Friday and is held in the front lobby of the Community Arts Center. The month's exhibit may be seen from 6 to 9 p.m. and then on the second floor lobby for the remainder of the month.
