Ecumenical luncheon

United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. This Wednesday, the Rev. Ken Elkin, pastor of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Williamsport, will share photos and reflections of his journey as he continues his pilgrimage in Spain on the Camino de Santiago. A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.

Devotion line

The United Churches telephone devotion line is available 24 hours a day by calling 322-5762. The devotionalist next week will be the Rev. Dr. Margaret Balliet, state director for John G. Lake Ministries in Williamsport.
