Peter Alvarez passed away in Nyack Hospital, N.Y., on Jan. 30. Born Jan. 24, 1959, in N.Y.C, he was the son of Domingo and Maria Alvarez.
He is survived by his mother, Maria Alvarez; his sister, Yvette Sladek and partner Ray Lowmiller of Williamsport; uncle, Angel Colon of California; nephews, Jason Sladek, East Norristown, and Henry Sladek (wife, Candi and son, Mason), Dillsburg; and cousins in Puerto Rico.
Viewing and service will be at 9:30 a.m. today at Hellman Memorial Chapel in Spring Valley, N.Y.
