Isabel L. Baran, 96, of Division Road, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at her home with her family at her bedside.
Born July, 18, 1916, in Shamokin, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Golden) Pasukinis.
She married Paul Baran, and spent 31 wonderful years together until his passing Nov. 23, 1969.

Isabel was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Montoursville, and retired from the former Arrow Shirt Company as a presser. She was devoted to her family and loved her grandchildren more than anything. She also enjoyed gardening and embroidering.
Surviving are a son, Gerald P. (Candace) Baran of Williamsport; a daughter, Sandra M. (Anthony) Grieco of Pittston; a brother, Jerome Pasukinis of Cogan Station; five sisters, Veronica Buchanan and Margaret Dietman, both of Harrisburg, Marie Stauffer of Lewisburg, Eleanor Lesheski of North Olmstead, Ohio, and Helen Renode of Bath; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Isabel was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 800 Mulberry St., Montoursville, with the Rev. John K. Manno officiating. There will be a visitation on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Knight-Confer's, 1914 Memorial Ave., with a rosary service at 8 p.m. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
