Radio News Show provided by United Churches, 9:15 a.m. Sunday, Religious News And Views: reporter this week is the Rev. Danesta Whaley, a member of Citychurch and the executive director of Yokefellow Prison Ministry, WRAK 1400 AM/WRKK 1200 AM.

Ecumenical luncheon

United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. On Wednesday, the Rev. Karen Atanasoff, pastor of Pine Street United Methodist Church, will provide an Ash Wednesday service and Imposition of Ashes. A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in Wesley Hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.

Devotion line

The United Churches telephone devotion line is available 24 hours a day by calling 322-5762. The devotionalist next week will be Dorothy Wagner, a member of Mill Creek United Methodist Church.
