The Williamsport boys basketball team scored 41 points in the second half and defeated Altoona on Thursday night, 69-43, on the road.
Isaiah Washington led the Millionaires with 18 points. Jahad Thomas added 17 points and Chris Kinley 14. The win moves the Millionaires to 17-2.
In girls basketball, Galeton overcame a sluggish start to beat Liberty, 39-24. The Tigers scored just five points in the first quarter before rebounding to score 15 in the second.
In high school wrestling, Montoursville used five falls and defeated Danville, 59-15. Connor Bassett had a 13-second pin for the Warriors at 220 pounds.
Muncy sealed a HAC-III title for a fourth consecutive year with a 48-33 win over Southern Columbia. Troy Hembury had a solid performance for the Indians, pinning Ben Clark is 39 seconds.
North?Penn's Nathan Kriner picked up a fall at 285 pounds but the Panthers fell to Towanda, 48-15.
Williamsport's Roshaun Cooley won by technical fall at 106 pounds, but the Millionaires fell to Mifflinburg, 62-11.
Loyalsock won a close match against Blooms-burg, 33-27, as Aaron Hepburn won by fall at 170 pounds.
Warrior Run's Zack LeBarron picked up a 6-4 decision at 106 pounds over Lewisburg's Brian Friery and the Defenders defeated the Green Dragons, 49-21.
