Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Wise, Montgomery, observed their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 31.
They were married in Virginia. They are members of the St. John Lutheran "Brick" Church, Montgomery.
Mrs. Wise, the former Dorothy A. Keifer, is a native of Allen. She is the daughter of the late Dora and Henry Keifer. She graduated from Montgomery Area High School in 1950. She is retired from Montgomery Area School District.

Mr. Wise, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Kathryn and Samuel Wise. He graduated from Montgomery Area High School in 1950. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Lending Textile, Montgomery.
They are the parents of three sons, Kenneth, S.C.; Henry, Unityville; and Dale, Montgomery; and a daughter, Shirley, Montgomery.
There are five grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a family dinner was held.
