Masons to hold family fun night
Jersey Shore Masonic Organization will be holding a family fun night 5 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Lodge Dinning Hall, 201 S. Main St.
There will be kid friendly movies, as well as board games, a pool table, foosball and many other activities. There also will be food and drinks.
Attendees may bring a non-perishable item to donate to the food shelter.

Quilt Guild to hold February meeting
The Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild will hold a meeting 7 p.m. Feb. 18, at the Gmeiner Arts and Cultural Center, 134 Main St., Wellsboro.
There will be a business meeting and a show and tell of members' projects followed by a slide-show tour of a past 2011 exhibit from guild member Anya Tyson.
The slideshow will feature unique red and white quilts owned by collector Joanna Rose. Guild members are asked to bring their own red and white quilts to share.
Meetings are free and open to the public.

Post W T.P.A. to hold luncheon
Post W Williamsport, Travelers Protective Association of America, a fraternal benefit organization, will hold its monthly luncheon meeting at noon Wednesday, Feb. 20 at Hoss' Steak and Sea House, 1954 E. Third St.
Members will order from the menu. Reservations are requested by Feb. 15 by calling Helen M. Mayer, secretary and treasurer, at 435-2376.
Nutrition education at Salvation Army
The Salvation Army, 457 Market St., will be hosting "Eat Smart Eat Well," a nutrition education class teaching basic cooking skills, nutrition education and more.
The class is 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26.
The class is taught by Lori M. Masser, a nutrition education advisor with the Penn State University cooperative extension.
Participants will try easy recipes and have a chance to win a cooking prize each class.
Class is free and materials are provided.

Salvation Army to hold classes
The Salvation Army, 457 Market St., will hold the Dave Ramsey Finan-cial Peace University class 6 to 8 p.m. March 4.
The instructor for the nine-week class is Chuck Stutzman. Topics include saving, cash flow planning, dumping debt, making healthy choices with money, understanding insurance, retirement, real estate and college planning. Class is free and materials are provided.
