I read that the county wants to build another prison. I realize that we need another one to accommodate everyone. But, instead of building another prison and house all prisoners plus work release prisoners out at the county farm and then have an empty building in town, why not put the work release prisoners in the prison on Third St. Doesn't make sense to spend so much money on any buildings that also leave one building empty, especially in this economy!
Maybe the courts should find a way to uphold the laws in a firmer way, too.
